Meet the Founders.

Humanitarians, educators, and social entrepreneurs Dr Manimekalai and Srisha believe that they can provide a holistic learning experience for children in Coimbatore. Their vision expanded to include creating a new curriculum at Ruh that empowers children to take ownership of their learning and nurture them to become the changemakers of tomorrow, connecting them with nature and what is required of the world today.

    SSVM’s Founder, Dr Manimekalai Mohan, is a visionary and reformer who has dedicated her life to education and philanthropy. She became a voice and pillar of support for women educators through her work. Dr Mohan has founded six campuses in the Coimbatore district, where she is an outspoken proponent of modern education perspectives while combining Indian values. The legacy of the founder inspired the school to adopt a powerful and innovative approach to education as they continue to seek and inspire their students to provide a rich and dynamic learning experience that enables young learners to flourish and become well-rounded individuals.

    By embracing a tradition of quality education for 23 years, SSVM redefines the future of students by inspiring them to achieve excellence. “We guide our vision through our mission, and our alumni ensure excellence in every endeavour by making that vision a reality.” Says Dr Mohan.

    Through a kaleidoscope of extra-curricular activities, the institution supports the education programme to develop a robust and confident learning community actively involved in progressive learning.     Seeing children live in the present, learning new things effortlessly, exploring their enormous capabilities, experiencing growth (aka. Ruh) every day and being a part of a vibrant and welcoming community is how we built the Ruh Early Years experience. It is truly about giving significance to everyone, giving them a sense of belonging, and helping our little ones become the best versions of themselves.
